The Woodberry Down Community Organisation (WDCO) represents all residents and retailers across the Woodberry Down Estate. We’re your elected voice in the ongoing regeneration of our area.
What we do
WDCO works directly with Hackney Council, Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) and Berkeley Homes to make sure residents’ views are heard on all aspects of the development. We attend regular meetings and negotiations to advocate for the community’s interests.
All resident and tenant associations can affiliate with WDCO and send representatives to our board meetings – whether you live in private, council or Notting Hill Genesis housing.
Get Involved
- Attend our meetings: Third Thursday of every month, 7:15pm at Redmond Community Centre – all residents welcome as observers
- Stand for election: Board elections happen every three years (most recent: Summer 2024)
- Automatic membership: If you’re over 18 and live here, you’re already a WDCO member with voting rights
